- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 6-8 chicken thighs)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Prepare Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. (You can also use cooked, shredded chicken for a quicker version.) - Make the Casserole Sauce:
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. - Add Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese over the soup mixture, spreading it evenly to cover the chicken. - Prepare the Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers, melted butter, and dried parsley.
Stir until the crackers are well coated and then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the casserole. - Bake the Casserole:
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F) and the topping is golden brown and crispy. - Serve:
Let the casserole rest a few minutes before serving. Serve with a side of vegetables or over rice or mashed potatoes.
