
Chocolate Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk (or half-and-half for extra creaminess)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 3 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (or ½ cup chocolate chips)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter (for extra richness, optional)
Instructions:
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Add Milk & Heat:
- Slowly whisk in milk until smooth.
- Place saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble (about 8-10 minutes).
- Add Chocolate & Flavoring:
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate, vanilla extract, and butter until melted and smooth.
- Chill the Pudding:
- Pour the pudding into serving dishes.
- Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Serve & Enjoy!
- Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries before serving.
