Ingredients:

Brownie Base Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18.4 oz) chocolate brownie mix (or homemade brownie batter)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Banana Pudding Layer:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 (5.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipped topping (optional)

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
  • Sliced bananas (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Brownie Base:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

    • Stir in the mashed bananas and mix until smooth and well combined.

    • Spread the banana pudding mixture evenly over the cooled brownie base.
  3. Add the Topping:
    • Sprinkle the crushed vanilla wafers on top of the pudding layer.
    • Optionally, garnish with banana slices on top.
  4. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set.
    • Slice into squares and serve chilled.
