
Soft and Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups (300ml) milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter (or vegetable oil)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Mix the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. (Don’t overmix – a few lumps are okay!)
- Preheat the Pan: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
- Cook the Pancakes: Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set (about 2 minutes). Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Stack them up and serve warm with syrup, butter, fresh fruit, or your favorite toppings!
