Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 25 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream, whipped

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 6-8 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed bag and rolling pin.
    • Mix the crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
    • Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling:
    • In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    • Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until fully combined.
    • Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Topping:
    • Heat the ½ cup heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds or until warm (but not boiling).
    • Add the chocolate chips and let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
    • Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter filling, spreading evenly.
  4. Garnish & Chill:
    • Sprinkle chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on top.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours, or until the pie is firm.
  5. Serve & Enjoy!
