
Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pineapple, finely chopped or crushed (fresh or canned)
- 2 tbsp pineapple juice (from the canned pineapple or fresh)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ice Cream Base:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add a pinch of salt and stir well.
- Add Pineapple Flavor:
- Stir in the finely chopped or crushed pineapple and pineapple juice into the cream mixture.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or pineapple flavor as needed by adding more sugar or juice.
- Chill the Mixture:
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours or until well chilled.
- Churn the Ice Cream:
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions. This usually takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on the machine.
- Freeze to Set:
- Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for 4-6 hours, or until fully set and firm.
