Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Foil Packets 🥩🧄🥔

Juicy, tender steak bites and buttery, crispy potatoes wrapped in foil and grilled (or baked) to perfection! A no-mess, easy dinner with bold garlic butter flavors!

Ingredients:

For the Steak & Potatoes:

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved (or diced into 1-inch pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

Instructions:

1. Preheat & Prep Foil Packets

🔥 Grilling? Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
🔥 Baking? Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  1. Cut 4 large sheets of aluminum foil (about 12×12 inches each).

2. Season & Assemble

  1. In a large bowl, toss steak pieces and potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Divide the steak and potatoes evenly between the foil sheets.

3. Add the Garlic Butter

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Drizzle the garlic butter evenly over each foil packet.

4. Seal & Cook

📌 For the Grill:

  • Fold the foil tightly to seal.
  • Place packets on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.

📌 For the Oven:

  • Place foil packets on a baking sheet.
  • The potatoes should be tender after 25-30 minutes of baking.

5. Serve & Enjoy!

Carefully open the foil packets (watch for steam!) and garnish with extra parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
