Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- Cream Butter & Sugar: In a separate bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in egg, vanilla, and milk until combined.
- Combine & Chill: Gradually add dry ingredients, mix well, then chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Shape & Bake: Scoop dough into small balls, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
