Air Fryer Ribeye Steak Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks (1 to 1.5 inches thick)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
2️⃣ Prepare the Steaks:
- Pat the ribeyes dry with a paper towel.
- Brush both sides with olive oil or butter.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Add fresh rosemary or thyme if desired.
3️⃣ Cook in the Air Fryer: - Place the steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Adjust time based on desired doneness (see below).
4️⃣ Check Doneness with a Meat Thermometer: - Rare: 120-125°F (49-52°C) → 8-9 min
- Medium-rare: 130-135°F (54-57°C) → 10-11 min
- Medium: 140-145°F (60-63°C) → 11-12 min
- Medium-well: 150-155°F (65-68°C) → 12-13 min
- Well-done: 160°F+ (71°C+) → 14-15 min
5️⃣ Rest & Serve: - Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with butter, steak sauce, or a side of roasted veggies.
