Air Fryer Tea Loaf
A moist and flavorful tea loaf, packed with dried fruits and subtle spices, made effortlessly in the air fryer!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) mixed dried fruits (raisins, sultanas, currants)
- 1 cup (240ml) hot tea (black tea works best)
- 1 ½ cups (190g) self-rising flour
- ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon honey or golden syrup
Instructions:
1. Soak the Fruits
- Place the dried fruits in a bowl and pour over the hot tea. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes or until plump. Drain excess liquid if necessary.
2. Prepare the Batter
- In a mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Add the soaked fruits, beaten egg, and honey. Mix until well combined.
3. Air Fry the Loaf
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Grease and line a small loaf tin that fits in your air fryer.
- Pour the batter into the tin and smooth the top.
- Air fry for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Cool & Serve
- Let the loaf cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy with butter or jam!

- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Freezes well for up to 3 months.
