Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- ½ cup granulated sugar (or honey for a natural option)
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
- 2 cups cold water
- ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Sliced strawberries & lemon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Strawberry Mixture:
- In a blender, combine strawberries and sugar.
- Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve (optional, for a smoother texture).
- Make the Lemonade Base:
- In a pitcher, mix lemon juice, strawberry mixture, and cold water. Stir well until combined.
- Add the Cream:
- Slowly stir in heavy cream, mixing until smooth and well incorporated.
- Chill and Serve:
- Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with strawberry slices and lemon wedges.
