
Easy Peach Tea Recipe

Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 2-3 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter flavor)
- 2 ripe peaches, sliced
- ΒΌ cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for a citrusy touch)
- 2 cups cold water or ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Brew the Tea:
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat.
- Add the tea bags and steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
- Remove tea bags and let it cool slightly.
- Prepare the Peach Mixture:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sliced peaches and honey (or sugar).
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches break down and release their juices.
- Mash the peaches slightly with a fork for extra flavor.
- Strain and Mix:
- Strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing to extract all the juice.
- Pour the peach syrup into the brewed tea and stir well.
- Add lemon juice if using.
- Chill and Serve:
- Add 2 cups of cold water or ice cubes to the tea.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour for best flavor.
- Serve over ice, garnished with fresh peach slices and mint leaves.
